The all new Ford Transit is the largest van in the range. Either as a new or used option, with its wide choice of wheelbases, cab-styles, roof-heights, engines and more, it provides you with an extensive range of options to specify your vehicle. All vans in the range are powered by a range of three, advanced 2.2 litre TDCi engines. Via a 6-speed, front wheel drive transmission, these new powertrains deliver either 100, 125 or 155PS and up to 385Nm of torque for maximum pulling power and fewer gear changes. They offer outstanding fuel-economy, coupled with low emissions and swift, efficient warm-up even in the coldest conditions. And the van’s efficiency can be further improved by Ford ECOnetic Technologies such as Auto stop start. They are coupled with Smart Regenerative Charging which only charges the battery when it needs it, and, whenever possible avoids doing so when you’re pressing the accelerator. This can help save even more fuel and further reduce emissions. Choose the alternative ‘ECOnetic model’ and you’ll get a 7% increase in gear ratios that means longer gearing. You’ll also benefit from enhanced fuel economy and reduced emissions: as low as 169g CO2/KM. There are also rear wheel drive and four wheel drive variations available to order.
Wheelbase models including L2 (Medium), L3 (Long), L4 (Long Extended).
Double Cab in Van models including L2 (Medium), L3 (Long), L4 (Long Extended) coupled with roof height H2 (Medium Roof) and H3 (High Roof)offer gross vehicle weights of between 2900 and 3500kg whilst seating 1-7 persons including the driver.
Chassis cabs are available in Wheelbase: L1 (Short), L2 (Medium), L3 (Long), L4 (Long Extended), L5* (Jumbo Long Extended) and Roof Height: H1 (Low Roof) seating between 1-3 persons including the driver.
Double Chassis cabs are available in Wheelbase of L2 (Medium), L3 (Long), L4 (Long Extended), L5* (Jumbo Long Extended) with Roof Height: H1 (Low Roof), offering seating between 1-7 including the driver.
The range is available in Base, trend or limited models, some offering options of Auto wipers, auto headlamps, fully adjustable steering column, quickclean windscreen clear function, new more comfortable seating, optional power fold mirrors, emergency brake assist, hill start assist, roll stability control, multi airbags advanced traction control and multi door unlock/lock configuration.
